Tâm Tâm Receives a Michelin Bib Gourmand
Plus, the Odette cocktail and a squishy Marshmellow awaits cuddling
In advance of Michelin’s annual Florida Star Ceremony, the prestigious dining guide teased four new additions to its Bib Gourmand categories, with one Miami restaurant achieving Bib Gourmand status.
Miami’s Tâm Tâm received the award, with the anonymous Michelin inspector issuing the following statement on the Vietnamese restaurant:
Husband-and-husband team Tam Pham and Harrison Ramhofer are throwing a party on their own terms. On the edge of downtown by the county courthouse, you won’t find a glamorous room, a DJ booth, or anybody in stilettos or designer sneakers. There is no bouncer by the door. Instead, come as you are for this celebration of Vietnamese cooking that started out as a supper club. Much of the food doesn’t require silverware: think wings glossed in fish sauce caramel, smoky lamb with lettuce wraps and banh hoi noodles, and tamarind-glazed pork ribs. Finish with a slice of cheesecake made with cultured cashew cream and topped with passionfruit gelee. Bold, funky and fun, the restaurant is a good time all around, down to the hidden karaoke machine.
Tâm Tâm evolved from years of operating as a backyard supper club. In 2020, the partners opened a pop-up at 1-800-Lucky in Wynwood, before graduating to a brick-and-mortar in Miami’s Downtown neighborhood.
Other restaurants that earned the Bib Gourmand include Sushi Saint and Zaru in Orlando and Streetlight Taco in Tampa.
The Michelin Ceremony will be held in Tampa at the Tampa Edition Hotel on April 18. Be sure to subscribe to the Miami Checklist for the inside scoop on the ceremony. Congratulations!

Swan Lake Cocktails at the Arsht Center
If you’re attending Miami City Ballet’s production of Swan Lake at the Adrienne Arsht Center from April 18-21, be sure to stop into Teatro before the ballet for some Swanspiration in liquid form. The Odette ($20) is made with vodka, St. Germain, lemon, and sparkling wine. You can also opt for the Odette Zero Proof ($20), with Seedlip Garden (a zero-proof spirit), lemon, and Sprite. The drinks will also be available at the theater’s intermission bars. Swantastic!

Here’s a Squishy Marshmellow
Everyone loves squishy, sweet things, so why not adopt a forever Marshmellow? Marshmellow is a spayed female, brindle American Bulldog mix that’s about 12 years old. If you’d rather have a Netflix and chill cuddler than insane puppy energy this is the gal for you. Marshmellow’s number is A2449165 and her kennel number is G11. Sweet!
Batch Gastropub is the sponsor of our dog adoption section. If you adopt one of these guys (or any dog because of the Miami Checklist), Batch will supply you with a gift card for the amount of the adoption from MDAS. So get a dog, get a burger…or something like that. Contact me for details.
Marshmellow is one of hundreds of dogs available at Miami-Dade Animal Services. If you’re looking to bring a new best friend into the family, this is the place to start your search. Adoptions are only done in person, and you should bring a current picture ID and proof of current address. Dogs older than four months carry a $65 adoption fee and puppies are $85 — all dogs come home fully vaccinated, are dewormed, and have been spayed/neutered. In other words, adopting a dog is the best deal in Miami.
